Prerequisite(s): EDD 349, EDD 370, and EEL 301, acceptance into the Education Department.
Principles and techniques of teaching language, reading, and writing skills to deaf and hard-of-hearing children in grades four and beyond. There is particular emphasis on the teaching of reading and literacy skills with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. 30-hour practicum required. Offered spring semester.
