A survey of major American works and authors from the latter part of the 19th century through the 21st century. Authors to be studied may include Twain, Chopin, Gilman, Crane, James, Robinson, Frost, Eliot, Pound, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, cummings, Faulkner, Williams, Miller, O’Connor, Roethke, Ginsberg, Morrison, and others.
