HIS 110 - Topics in U.S. History Credits: 3
This class is an introductory course that covers American history through topics highlighting the African-American experience, from colonization through the present. During the course of the semester, students will be exposed to primary and secondary sources in comprehending more fully the role individuals, organizations, events, religion, legislation, the courts, and popular culture played in the struggle for Black citizenship and how that still-relevant struggle influenced the nation’s development.
