COR 103 - Core Academic Writing - Community Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): ENG 142 or placement. General education course in Academic Writing. Through drafting, revision, and editing, students learn to use evidence-based writing as a tool for learning and effective communication and argument. Students learn to read critically and respond to the arguments of others by effectively identifying, interpreting, and evaluating authors’ conclusions and positions. Proper citation methods are covered. Themes and titles vary by section but focus on respectful and inclusive community.
