THA 347 - Costume Design & Construction

Overview of costuming ideas, construction techniques, and principles and practical application of design. Students work individually and collaboratively. Students will learn basic hand stitching and machine techniques while working on personal projects and the current production. They will explore design elements of color, line, historical research, and rendering with a final project of a fully realized design presentation.
