BUS 321 - Introduction to Business Analytics

Prerequisite(s): BUS 200 /CIS 200 , CIS 206 , and MAT 223 .
This course provides an overview of important concepts, techniques, applications, and emerging trends of business analytics. The course focuses on descriptive analytics and predictive analytics. Topics include how to clean, analyze and report structured data, data visualization, data mining, and data modeling. Throughout this course, students will learn to model and analyze complex business problems with various tools to improve decision making in a variety of business domains. This course is cross-listed as CIS 321 . A lab fee is required for this course.
