Spanish Minor

Heritage speakers

Heritage speakers must take a placement test to determine the course level. After that, they follow the requirements for a major or minor.

Native speakers complete the minor after taking 5 courses above SPA 305 . Native speakers cannot enroll in 100 and 200-level courses.

The Spanish minor consists of 21 credits (seven courses).

In addition to the core courses, students must take 3 SPA courses at the 300 or 400 level.
