ENT 304 - New Venture Creation and Development

Prerequisite(s): ENT 211 .  
Students will identify and evaluate opportunities for new business ventures while taking into consideration a sustainable entrepreneurship approach keeping economic, social, and ecological aspects of new venture creation at the forefront to their decisions. Students aspiring to be social entrepreneurs shape and evaluate business opportunities through responsible, accountable, and sustainable business practices.  Students put entrepreneurial thought into practice by developing a business model that might ultimately be used to launch their venture. Core to the class experience is the challenge of how to build and lead a social enterprise. This course is cross-listed as BUS 304 .
